Applications are invited for the following positions on a purely temporary basis in the project on
“Job Search and Hiring Practices in Urban Labour Markets in India”. The project is sponsored
by Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi for a period of two years at the Institute. It
involves intensive field survey based research in urban areas:

1. Consultant (01): Initially for a period of one year only. Extendable for another year subject to
the satisfactory work performance.

i) Ph.D. in Social Science with 2 years of research experience. Those who have
submitted their Ph.D. for the award of degree and have at least two years research
experience are also eligible to apply.
ii) Preference will be given to those candidates who have experience of working with
large data sets such as NSSO, Census, NFHS and sound working knowledge of
